UC Berkeley Global

The visa process for Indian students at UC Berkeley Global will involve two main sets of documents: 

From UC Berkeley Global:

• Valid I-20 or DS-2019 form

For the Visa Application (through the US embassy/consulate):

• Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in the US.
• Proof of Admission (could be your acceptance letter or other documentation from UC Berkeley Global)
• Evidence of Financial Support
• Visa Application Form (DS-160)
• SEVIS Fee (if applicable)

UC Berkeley Global doesn't have a single application deadline for all programs. Since it offers various professional certificate programs, deadlines will likely vary depending on the specific programme you're interested in.

Tthere are a couple of ways you can find the application deadline for your desired program:

• Visit the UC Berkeley Global website and browse the programs offered. Each programme page should have its own application information section.
• You can directly contact UC Berkeley Global's admissions office.

UC Berkeley Global accepts a few different English proficiency exams for international students. 

• TOEFL is the most widely accepted exam. UC Berkeley prefers a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), but the minimum accepted score is 80.
• In IELTS exam, you'll need a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS Academic test.
• Duolingo English Test is a relatively new option. The minimum score required is 115.

UC Berkeley Global itself isn't officially ranked as a separate entity because it's not a traditional university with its own faculty and degrees. UCBG acts as a platform through which UC Berkeley and potentially other UC campuses offer online and hybrid programs. Students enrolled in UCBG programs earn degrees or certificates from the specific UC campus associated with the program.

Therefore, the rankings you'd typically find for universities wouldn't apply directly to UC Berkeley Global.

The application fee for UC Berkeley Global programs is  $80 for each UC campus you apply to. UCBG offers various online and hybrid programs, but the application fee structure applies to all UC campuses, not just UCBG specifically.

However, if you apply to UCBG programs associated with multiple UC campuses (e.g., one programme at UC Berkeley and another at UCLA), you'd pay separate application fees for each campus.
