Yes, the Department of Communication at the University of Hyderabad is considered a good college for mass media communication students and has been ranked as the Best University Department many times in national surveys. However, it offers only two postgraduate courses in Communication, whereas Guru Nanak University offers a wider range of courses in Communication and Media Studies.

The University of Hyderabad offers a variety of M.Sc. courses in different fields. The minimum eligibility for these PG Degree/Diploma courses is a graduation in the concerned subject. The University of Hyderabad is more cost-effective compared to Guru Nanak University, with an annual tuition fee for MA programs around 6000, whereas Guru Nanak University charges approximately 25000 per annum.
Also the hostel fees is very less around 500 per semester.

The University of Hyderabad doesn't share a fixed minimum score for admission, and it changes every year. The selection process considers 60% from the CUET - PG exam and 40% from the interview. It's a good idea to aim for around 70% in the exam and prepare well for the interview. After the assessments, the university puts out a list of selected students to fill around 50 spots in the branch.
