Yes, Vishwakarma University offers elective subjects to students enrolled in BTech courses. Third semester onwards, students get to choose two elective subjects that align best with their interests. Some of the elective subjects available for BTech students are Machine Learning, Application Security, Fundamentals of Data Science & Business Analytics, Introduction to Cyber Security, Technical Writing, and more.

The allocation of Vishwakarma University BTech seats is done based on scores obtained in the accepted entrance exams, namely JEE Main, MH CET, and VNUET. However, for BTech in AI & ML and BTech in AI, admissions are made only on the basis of JEE Main or MH-CET scores. To be able to participate in the seat allocation process, students must fill out the application form and pay the participation fees.

As per the Vishwakarma University NIRF Engineering report 2024, the median package bagged by students during BTech placements 2023 stood at INR 6 LPA. Other than this, as per official sources, a titak of 109 BTech students were placed during the same placement drive.
