Yes, ABES Engineering College conducts MBA counseling sessions. Approximately 85% of seats are filled by students through the official counseling process (with CUET-PG scores taken into account), which AKTU conducts. Once students have been allotted a seat, students must report to the college with required documents and fees. The remaining 15% are filled through direct admission where students are shortlisted on the basis of their grades and their performance in the personal interview. Counseling is designed to assist students on the selection of seats, verification of documents, and finalisation of admission for MBA students. Students are advised to regularly view notifications from AKTU for any changes and closely follow instructions from the college to ensure admission is smooth.

The University Grants Commission has, as recently announced, granted autonomous status to ABES Engineering College (ABES EC) Ghaziabad, and this will be effective 2025. That is why here is a thorough analysis of your fears toward scholarships and the academic standards of the overall situation in this mighty movement with this change:Self-Government and its EffectsAutonomous Status: The implications of this are that now ABES EC gets the right to design its own curriculum, hold its own examination, and degree in the name of the parent University (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, AKTU).Advantages: There is more flexibility of the syllabus, examination and results and orientation to the contemporary industry requirements. In the general sense, autonomous institutions have the capacity to enhance academics and placement option.Post-Autonomy ScholarshipGovernment scholarships, major changes: The government has done away with the 20 per cent reservation in central and Uttar Pradesh (UP) state scholarships (like the UP Post Matric Scholarship, SC/ST, Minority and EWS scholarships) to students in autonomous colleges as long as the institution is approved by AICTE/UGC and a member of AKTU, among which ABES EC falls.Scholarships via the college: ABES EC also provides various merit-based scholarships (e.g. waivers of the tuition fees based on high marks in Class 10th/ 12th/ Graduation and on merit ranks to get admission into the college), and provides assistance to the government-sponsored scholarships. The criterion of these scholarships does not change regardless of the autonomous status.Process: In the case of the state/government scholarships, it is through the National Scholarship Portal or the UP online portal that you apply. The college checks the documents but the disbursal is through government system without direct way of disbursal by the college.Conclusively: The fact that you will be making yourself independent ought not in any way affect your chance at obtaining a government or college-based merit scholarship, so long as the rest of the requirements to these are fulfilled. Is ABES EC Ghaziabad NZ Good to Get Admission? Academics & Placements: ABES EC is regarded as one of the best in the Delhi-NCR region under the private engineering colleges with a good infrastructure, placement rates (average offerings are approximately 6 Lacs per annum with the highest being 59.91 Lacs in 2024 ) and the campus life.Placements: Placement rate is good (higher than 85-93% on average depending on branch). Top recruiters are Amazon, Adobe, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini and TCS.Accreditation: It holds an NBA and NAAC accreditation and is still affiliated with AKTU.Faculty is regularly mentioned as supportive, labs are regularly cited as modern, and there is a good alumni network.Fee: Approximately 1.3- 1.4 Lacs per year to study B.Tech. Scholarships and UP state schemes will ease the load.Campus Life: over 11 clubs, key tech campuses and much more to learn wholistically.ConclusionScholarship has nothing to worry about since ABES EC is a self-governing body. Any government/state scholarships and other financial aid on merit basis are not taken away, provided you meet the basic eligibility criteria. It is fine to take admission in ABES EC Ghaziabad owing to its flexibility in academics (since autonomy), placement track record and reputation of the college in Delhi NCR.In case you know the branch you have in mind or category of scholarship (merit, social category/EWS), then please do write to me so I can advise you more specifically.
