The mandatory entrance test for all prospective students from India who seek admission to any undergraduate or postgraduate programme at ADYPU is the ADYPU Common Entrance Test (ACET). The test is held once a year and is a university-level examination for courses in Liberal Arts, Design, Engineering, Law, etc. The entrance test is divided into two parts, each part is of 50 marks, and part one is common for all. The cutoff rank for entrance exams undertaken by candidates is the closing rank for admission to Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering. For Ph.D. programs, admission is done on the basis of a valid score obtained in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET).
