Out of these seats few are  reserved for NRI students and the remaining are filled of as per the guidelines issued by National medical commission. Be that as it may, few students do get placed after their completion of graduation including internship. The highest package offered at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy is basically at the post of Associate Professor with 7-10 years experience. He is being offered an annual salary of Rs. 8.0L per year -  Rs. 20L per year . This is the highest package offered by at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy but many other options are also there with a lower packages which is also far better than low packages of ther medical academies.

NTA announces cutoff percentile or ranks. Students who have scored this or better are only allowed to seek admission in any medical college in India.Then there is All India Quota under which students only from other states can apply for admission in a given state.
