It's definitely a new university and it's a state private university. However, if your getting in through CET, the fee is lower. On the contrary, if you get in through Management Quota, the fee is too high. It is a normally good university if you are not making into IISc/IIT/NIT/IIIT/ UVCE/BMSCE/RVCE/MSRIT/BIT/ DSCE when compared to Bangalore standards. I personally feel among the state private universities in Bangalore, Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a decent option and good for B.Tech. I would rate REVA the lowest in this cadre. However, Presidency has decently good faculty and they follow a curriculum of BITS-Pilani with decent faculty base.
All the best.
All the best.

Internship- Yes, our college does provide internships but only for the people who are eligible for it and the internships start from the 2nd year itself.

The teaching faculty of the university comprises of eminent and accomplished academicians from some of the premier institutions such as the IITs, IIMs, NMIMs, Symbiosis, ISB and IISc, to name a few. The unique feature of the B.Tech programme is its industry practice outreach programme. Industrial Practice Structure: IP is part of the undergraduate B.Tech. Programme that takes the classroom to a professional location for a period of 7 and a half months. Hence, studying B.Tech at Presidency University will be rewarding experience. Once you graduate from the university, you will have a license approved from the BCI (Bar Council of India) unlike the other colleges where you have to take up an exam/viva to get license to practice from BCI.
