- Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BFA/B.MUS./BCA/B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture under 10+2+3 scheme from Rajiv Gandhi University or any other recognised University with 50% or above marks in graduation are eligible for admission to B.Ed. Two Year Programme.
- CUET-PG and RGUCET based seats categorized into Science and arts stream.
- Candidates should have 55% or above marks in Post Graduate Degree (M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./MCA/M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture or B.E./B.Tech. with specialisation in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks).
- The state Govt. sponsored (deputed) teachers having 10+2+2 pattern can be admitted in B.Ed programme.
- SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates shall be given a relaxation of 5% marks.

Yes, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Nuzvid admission is merit-based for the BTech course. Candidates are granted admission to this course on the basis of merit of Class 10/SSC examination. Candidates must have a valid score in these to apply for admission. While for M.Tech course, admission is entrance-based. The university accepts GATE and Andhra Pradesh PGECET for admissions to M.Tech course.

To get a seat in Rajiv Gandhi Central University for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), admissions will be carried out through CUET-PG 2025 and RGUCET-2025. Out of the 100 seats, a few seats are reserved for deputed teachers nominated by the Department of Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, and one seat each for Sports Quota and Wards of RGU Employees (Supernumerary). Remaining seats and additional 10 seats for EWS are equally divided between Direct seats and Paid seats to be filled as per merit and reservation for various categories.
