- The CUET UG 2026 registration portal is now closed for admission to several UG courses. The CUET exam 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).
Rajiv Gandhi University Highlights 2025
Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU was earlier known as Arunachal University. The foundation stone was laid in 1984 at Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. In 2005, it was renamed as Rajiv Gandhi University. It converted into a Central University with effect from 2007. It is a UGC recognized and accredited with NAAC A Grade University. It offers UG, PG, diploma, certificate and PhD courses across streams like Engineering, Arts, Science, etc. BSc, BA and MTech are its flagship courses.
The University offers scholarships to its meritorious and deserving candidates. It has well experienced and expert faculties. The admission is based on merit and entrance exams. It accepts national entrance exams such as CUET and CUET-PG. Rajiv Gandhi University is one of the eminent universities which offers quality education to young talent. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited with an A Grade by NAAC. It is a well-recognised, state-funded central university in Arunachal Pradesh with a clean, aesthetic environment and positive aspects regarding academic support for cultural activities. The university appoints well-trained and expert faculty members with extensive experience in their respective fields.
CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, is considered a Tier 2 university. It is also a Central University. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited with an A Grade by NAAC. It does not achieve the same level of recognition as Tier 1 schools, which are usually those that rank higher in national evaluations and have a more established reputation in the engineering sector, despite offering a variety of programs, having decent facilities, and providing placement possibilities.
National Testing Agency re-commenced CUET 2026 registration on February 23, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification, candidates can check the important dates about CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration was February 26, 2026 (11.50 PM).
Candidates were required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

NTA will release CUET 2026 city intimation slip online. Candidates who will complete the CUET application process by paying the requisite fee can log in with their username and password and download the slip to check the city where their CUET UG 2026 exam centre will be located.
CUET intimation slip mentions the date of examination, shift, subject/test papers and medium chosen by the candidate while filling the application form. City intimation slips are released subsequently for the exams scheduled on different dates. CUET city intimation slip is not an admit card. It is an advanced information about the allotment of city. Based on the city allotted, candidates will have to make the necessary arrangement for travel, accommodation, etc.
