If you're thinking about taking admission at Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies, the process is actually quite smooth and not very complicated. It usually begins with visiting the college's official website and registering yourself in the admissions section. Once you create your profile, you'll need to fill out the application form with your personal details, academic background (10th and 12th marks), and the law programme you're interested in, like BA LLB or BBA LLB. After completing the form, you submit it by paying the application fee online. The next stage is the institute's admission test. RILS conducts its own entrance test to understand a student's aptitude for law. If you perform well, you'll be contacted for a personal or telephonic interview. This interaction is generally about your interest in studying law, your communication skills, and your overall clarity about your career goals.Once selected, the final step is document verification and fee payment. You'll need to provide your mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate (if you're from a different board or state), and any other required documents. After verification, paying the admission fee confirms your seat.As for eligibility, you must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).Overall, the process is straightforward — apply online, clear the test and interview, submit documents, and secure your admission.

As a fresher, life at Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies is not difficult and quite nice. Students will receive a warm welcome from their seniors and teachers. Also the university has an Anti-Ragging Cell with the college premises having strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, hence survival at RILS Bangalore for freshers is as comfortable as for the seniors.
