Yes, it is mandatory for students to appear in the SET examinations to get into BBA course at SCMS Noida. The admission to SCMS Noida BBA is merit based. The final merit list is prepared based on SET and PI marks. Each shortlisted student requires to attend PI round in order to get a seat in the college.

The SET exam is a common computer based examination for undergraduate programme for various Symbiosis institutes admissions. The exam is generally conducted in mid of May, the application closes in April. The results are declared in end of May. Students are required to give this exam to get admission to SCMS Noida BBA programme.

IPMAT is usually considered a bit more difficult than SET, as IPMAT exam has advanced mathematics and is calculation intensive. The exam also have a sectional time limit. But, SET is easier in terms of difficulty, does not have negative marking or sectional timings. 

The SET BBA question paper is divided into four sections, I. e. General English Quantitative Aptitude Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. SET exam is conducted for one hour in CBT mode. To prepare for the General English section, read and practice a lot of comprehension passages, and work on vocabulary and grammar. For SET preparation, go through at least the previous five years papers to get used to the paper pattern and understand the difficulty level.
