Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests, and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or their own test. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. With a rank of 47233, you will not get a seat in information science engineering in good colleges. You can get information science in lower ranked colleges.
Also, try for lower branches in average colleges. Hope you will get into those. It's better than taking a good branch in low ranked colleges (as the standard of study will not be good there).
