It is possible to get direct admission to the M.Tech programme at Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering without GATE. However, admission to the M.Tech programme at Ajeenkya DY Patil University is done on the basis of the performance of candidates in GATE. Additionally, the eligibility criteria for M.Tech programs at D Y Patil University state that a qualified (valid) score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2021 or 2022) is required. Therefore, it seems that while direct admission without GATE may be possible, it is not the typical admission process and GATE scores may be required for admission to the M.Tech programme at Ajeenkya DY Patil University.
