The Allahabad University Law Faculty offers admission to the Master of Laws (LL.M.) course based on an entrance test. The test has 150 objective type/multiple choice questions and is of two hours duration, covering subjects such as Constitutional Law of India, Jurisprudence, Law of Contract, and others. The candidate must have obtained a Law Graduate Degree from any University recognised by U.G.C. with at least 45% marks in the aggregate. Preference is given to fresh Law graduates, and accumulative deduction at the rate of 5% of the marks obtained in the Entrance Test is made for every gap year in case of earlier Law graduates, subject to a maximum deduction of 15%.
