To get admission in CMRIT in BE course, candidates must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computers. Also candidates must qualify nationl level exams such as KCET/ COMEDK/ JEE Main/ AIEEE. The step-wise admission process for CMR Institute of Technology is given below:Step 1: CMR Institute of Technology Application Process 2024CMR Institute of Technology conducts the application process for all the UG, PG, and doctoral courses online.STEP 2: Selection/ Shortlisting of candidatesAll the candidates seeking admission to various UG, PG, and doctoral courses is entrance exam-based. The institute accepts the scores of national/ state-level entrance exams for admission to UG and PG courses, such as JEE Main, GATE, and CAT. For PhD, the institute conducts the ULRA Test.STEP 3: Payment of Admission Fee & Admission ConfirmationCandidates selected for various UG, PG, and doctoral courses need to pay the admission fee of the course to confirm their admission at the university.

CMRIT offers entrance-based admission. Candidates who are interested in MCA can apply for the admission form online on the official website of the institute. Additionally, applicants must follow the basic eligibility criteria to get admission to MCA and must have a graduation degree with 50% aggregate from a recognised board, Further, candidates must appear and apply for the exam accepted by the institute for admission.

CMR Institute of Technology admission, to all the programmes offered at the campus, is entrance exam-based. CMRIT admission to the flagship BTech course is provided on the basis of KCET scores and for MTech, candidates need to appear in GATE/ PGCET. Similarly, for MBA admissions, aspirants need to appear for CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ PGCET/ KMAT exams.
