Among all courses that are being provided at College of Ayurved Bharati Vidyapeeth, MD in Kayachikitsa (General Medicine) stands apart as being one of the most popular and adaptable courses. Kayachikitsa serves as backbone for Ayurveda since it involves diagnosis treatment and prevention of various ailments. Getting an MD in Kayachikitsa could give you numerous job opportunities such as working in clinics or hospitals, doing research or even teaching or working within industries. In addition, it is much revered within Ayurveda fraternity which results into higher learning positions and leadership roles. There are also other equally good options like MS in Shalya Tantra (Surgery) and MD in Panchakarma based on your preferences and career aspirations. Nonetheless, I would recommend MD in Kayachikitsa above all else if I were to select one.

To get into the College of Ayurved Bharati Vidyapeeth for MS it is mandatory have a valid AIAPGET score. MS programmes at this institution require students to take the All India Ayurveda Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). The college implements guidelines provided by AYUSH and CCIM strictly hence making the AIAPGET scores necessary in admitting post-graduate students in Ayurveda courses. For some selected state quota seats you may also be eligible if you possess a valid score in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET). But for most other seats, one must present their AIAPGET results. Therefore, prospective students aiming at becoming part of the college ought to prepare well and pass the difficult examinations associated with an AIAPGET!

The MD programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Ayurveda accepts scores from two main entrance exam i.e., All India Ayurveda Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET). A national examination compulsory for MD admissions across India, being run by National Testing Agency (NTA). On the other hand, Maharashtra State conducts these tests with the help of its Common Entrance Test Cell, offering some reservation for local students. AYUR-PGET is another option but not as popular as AIAPGET; so if you want to improve your chances, then prepare yourself for this particular test only.
