This indicates that candidates are chosen based on both their academic standing and how well they performed on the admission exam.Candidates must take the Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) in order to be considered for undergraduate admissions. Every year, the UET is held in April or May.Candidates must take the Post Graduate Entrance Exam (PET) in order to be considered for postgraduate admissions. Every year in December or January, the PET is conducted.The academic standing of candidates in their qualifying examination is taken into consideration in addition to their entrance examination score.
