The Faculty of Law of MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU) is commonly ranked as Tier 2. While it is a reputable institution with a strong academic curriculum, modern infrastructure, and experienced faculty, it lacks the national recognition and historical prestige of Tier 1 law schools in India, such as National Law Universities (NLUs) or well-established institutions like Delhi University or Jindal Global Law School. However, MIT WPU has made substantial progress in improving its reputation, research output, and industry contacts, which may enhance its rank in the future.

The Faculty of Law at MIT WPU charges fees ranging from INR 495,000 to INR 1,250,000, depending on the curriculum. For example, the BBA LL.B. (Hons) degree costs INR 12.5 lakh, whereas the LL.B. programme costs INR 4.95 lakh. This price may seem excessive, especially for students on a tight budget. However, the flexibility in payment options—annual or semester-wise—may alleviate the financial stress. In addition, some one-time costs must be paid upon admittance.
