GIBS Business School's campus life has had a profound effect on my educational growth (academically, personally, and professionally). Constant exposure to industry professionals through guest speakers, projects, presentations, leaders, etc., helped build not only my confidence level but my career focus. The current student population provides exposure to many different backgrounds which opened up my mind to new ways of thinking while helping to develop my ability to work as a team and communicate effectively. The discipline of a structured learning process, my working with a mentor, and the environment of practical learning shifted my mindset from simply study the material required for an exam to preparing for the day-to-day challenges faced in the corporate world. Overall, the campus life experience has made me much more responsible, proactive, and clear in my mind about what I want to accomplish long-term.

The admission processes for GIBS Business School in Bangalore have had an equal emphasis or priority for them: to create an environment that nurtures holistic development of all applicants through the evaluation and selection processes. More specifically, through their evaluation and selection process, they have established a historical trend for both CAT and MAT entrance exams; where successful applicants generally score above 60 percentile or higher on exams, with the exception of some years where the cut-off score for both the CAT and MAT were slightly lower or higher than indicated. The typical MAT cut-off year-to-year is around 60-65 percentile or higher; likewise, with a higher score being highly beneficial in increasing one's chances for an interview invitation and increased chances for a scholarship.GIBS Business School accepts other entrance exams including CMAT, XAT, ATMA, and GMAT, with a similar evaluation of moderate proficiency for each exam, while placing more importance on interview performance, past academic history, group discussion skills and overall applicant profile rather than solely on a cut-off score alone. In summary, GIBS offers CAT and MAT exam cut-off scores that are somewhat attainable through focused preparation, and entrance exam scores are only part of the overall evaluation process.

Global Integration Business School (GIBS) provides exposure to global business practices and prepares its graduates for a successful career in the corporate workforce through innovative programs like the Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurship (IRE) initiative and the Certified Professional Management Program (CPMP). These programs incorporate more than just learning in the classroom; they provide students with exposure to global business perspectives through international conferences, research projects, entrepreneurship competitions, being exposed to speakers from around the world, and collaborating with global leaders in their fields. The IRE programme was designed to help students develop an entrepreneurial and innovation-driven culture. The CPMP focuses on preparing students to enter the workforce by providing them with industry-relevant certifications, on-the-job training, working on live projects, and utilizing simulations and skills-based modules that align with what companies are currently looking for. Both of these programs enable GIBS students to acquire both global knowledge and hands-on experience, along with the leadership skills needed to effectively lead international business units. As a result, GIBS graduates will be ready to tackle the challenges they will face as international business managers and meet the needs of their potential employers.
