Achieving or surpassing the aforementioned scores improves the likelihood of admission; however, the bar is not constant annually because of the fluctuations in the candidates' numbers and scores.

The admission requirements for the MBA programme at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies are that the candidates have to be graduates with 50% or above marks (45% specially-abled candidates). It is also important that they have passing records on GATE, CAT, MAT, CMAT or XAT because these will be taken into consideration during the selection of candidates. However, work experience in fields related to the job is not a prerequisite, although makes a good impression in case the applicant will firsthand face competition.

Percentile requirement does vary based on exams; on average for CAT and similar one, around 60% percentile is usually expected.GNIOT Admission Test (GAT): In case scores in any national exam performed are not within the accepted percentile then one needs to appear for the GNIOT Admission Test (GAT).Application Procedure: Apply through the website of GNIOT.
