What is the movement in wait list, usually in every year? Being a 2nd merit list, do I have any chance to? Will more lists be announced?

Kanika,
Yes you do have a chance but I would request your patience on this as it completely depends over the response from first merit list candidates.
All the best.

Parnita,
There are many institutions that rank bschools in India so I recommend you not to look at the rankings in isolation. GIM is a different bschool compared to others as the focus is not only of curriculum and academics but also on over all development. Here we have over 18 clubs or societies that make this a student driven campus. GIM has an un-matchable infrastructure that includes finance labs, library, a multi-purpose hall for all indoor sports and other activities, a swimming pool, break out rooms specifically for group activities, an open air amphi, a Green Campus (Social and Environmental Commitment), etc. Other than infrastructure GIM possesses experience on campus faculty (Visit - http://www.gim.ac.in/new/faculty.php?type=C). The placements have been 100% year on year and the average has gone from last years' 8.87lpa to this years' 9.34lpa (visit: http://www.gim.ac.in/new/newpdfs/pgdmplacementreport2016.pdf).

See, It's up to you. As in, on what basis you are finalizing the college like placements, infra, faculty, pedagogy, extra circular activities etc. Here I won't compare colleges but yes GIM has seen a great placement season for the outgoing batch. Here's is the link for the same. Also, in terms of pedagogy, GIM has faculties with great background or industrial experience. Also, there's Give Goa which is a CSR initiative. We have Finance lab too which is real time exposure to stock markets. To add to this, we have 18 clubs and societies all of which are student driven which is a great learning in itself.

Utkarsh,
Congratulations on your shortlist, yes you do have a chance but that depends over the response from first list short-listed candidates. You will get an intimation very soon on this.
