The entrance exam for all medical programmes in India, including BAMS, is called NEET. In order to get admitted to a government institution under the general category, a student must receive more than 400 marks on the NEET exam. Admission to the Government Engineering College is not done based on the scores obtained in the MAT exam. Admission to the course is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed graduation in a relevant stream from a reputed University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

This nomination was made in G.O.
