The B.Sc. in Nursing eligibility criteria differ for the reserved category candidates at Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode. According to the prospectus, the reservation of seats for various courses, including B.Sc. Nursing, will be finalized before the Centralized Allotment Process. The seats will be distributed statewide for different categories by applying the mandatory reservation principle. Candidates belonging to reserved categories who are otherwise eligible for admission on the basis of their merit will have the option of taking admission to colleges where a specified number of seats have been kept reserved for reserved categories. However, while computing the percentage of reservation, they will be deemed to have been admitted as open merit candidates.

The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.

DME Kerala manages the GNM admission for Kerala through yearly notifications released during the middle part of the academic cycle.
