IBS hyderabad average package is 6.2lpa, seeing the intake of students you can say placements are not that bad, there are many companies who offer more than 10lpa.

I think IBS Hyderabad and Mumbai are best and other campuses are not so good Placement records are also not so good. I think your son will try some other colleges.

Any interviewer expects interviewe to come in formals so wear formals. No need of wearing blazer or suit.

Your question is not clear in which college you wanna apply. So I assume that you want to apply in IBS Hyderabad, so for this college deadline is already passed & GDPI are over, so you have to try next year.

Ibs hyd placements are decent but not bad, average package of ibs is 6.3lpa, so you can see average of 6.3lpa of odd 1200 students are not bad.

Ibs hyd does not provide you with free blazers or anything else for that matter . You need to bring your own business suit/blazer (preferably black) and your own laptop .

Firstofall your question is biased but still i am going to answer based on what i think you tried to ask.
It was not 14 but 16 lakhs. 6 guys in deshaw for finance domain.
All were freshers and 9 to 9.75 pointers
