Q:   How can I get seats in IBS Hyderabad?

A: 

IBS Hyderabad admission is a multi-step process. Check below the step-wise admission process: Check below the steps to get a seat in IBS Hyderabad:

Application: The mode of application is both online and offline. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 600 for BBA and BCom courses, INR 500 for BA, INR 900 for MBA Weekend and INR 1,800 for MBA course. 

Selection rounds: IBS conducts IBSAT for admission to MBA courses. The institute also accepts CAT, XAT, etc. for MBA admission. Selected aspirants are further called for a GDPI round. For BBA and BCom, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam followed by a personal interview round.

Admission Confirmation: After completion of the selection rounds, candidates will recieve a provisional letter. Candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Q:   Is IBSAT compulsory for IBS Hyderabad?

A: 

IBSAT or IBS Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not compulsory to appear for IBSAT. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT and scored well can also get admission to IBS Hyderabad MBA programme. 

IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December.

IBS Hyderabad is one of the top-ranked colleges in India. Getting admission to IBS Hyderabad is every student's dream. The college offers admission to various students based on merit, entrance exams, and interview rounds. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, NMAT, IBSAT, and others. Q:   Who can apply for MBA course at IBS Hyderabad?

A: 

Check below the eligibility criteria for MBA course:

  • A pass in graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate and above marks with medium of instruction as English is required to apply for MBA course. All applicants should have completed 15 years of education.
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2023.
  • Applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations/ viva/ assignments) before May 31, 2024.

ICFAI Business School offers IBSAT-2023 scholarships for various course students. This scholarship is provided to students who are top performers in the IBSAT test. The scholarship is available for those students who are applying for the MBA/PGPM programme and are taking the IBSAT test in December 2023. The campus life gives you the main character vibes.
Placements: The college promises placements, and the placement cell works hard for it. The usual average package is around 3 LPA. The highest package, which is difficult to crack, is around 15 LPA. Internships are easy to get in this college, and many students even worked with stipends ranging from 5,000 to 15,000.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and library are well-equipped with modern amenities like computers, Wi-Fi, projectors, and smart boards. The quality of the facilities in the hostel remains average, with mess, canteen, and AC/non-AC rooms. The food quality is pretty good. There is also a good clinic on campus and separate grounds for each sport.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and well-equipped to teach effectively. The course curriculum is relevant and includes practical knowledge to make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is average, and the pass percentage is good, but it also depends on individual strengths and weaknesses in specific subjects.

The best college of my life is IFHE College.
Placements: The placement offers from our college are so good as our college has invited many big MNCs like TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Reliance, and many others. Students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester, and the package offered is also very good, up to 16 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility of our college is so good. We have a huge campus for our hostel, and the rooms are well-equipped. The mess facility is also good, with a variety of food items available at meal times.
Faculty: The MBA course is excellent, with a huge scope. The teaching facilities are very good, and I loved their method of teaching. All the faculty are highly qualified. Exams are held every semester, and it is easy to score good marks if you study well.

The placements for B.A. economics in ICFAI university Hyderabad .
Placements: I joined here expecting placements, but they told me there are no placements. People who expect placements should not get into this college. Even Dean Sir said that placements are low and companies have not been coming for the past two years because people are not willing to take placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel are good. Here, there is a canteen, massage facilities, Wi-Fi, and good games. You will also get Wi-Fi access. There is a gym and a swimming pool. It's a 100-acre university and follows a more American model. There is no good clothing, and even boys and girls talk to each other. The culture is fast-paced.
Faculty: Here, teachers are M.A. or Ph.D. holders, and the teaching quality is good. This course is for students who want to pursue competitive exams or higher studies. The pass percentage is 45%, and you should have 75% attendance. You have Test 1 and Test 2 in every semester.
Other: They will give the merit base scholarship from 2nd semester.

Worth it for the investment.
Placements: BBA placements are average. Two of my friends are placed in Deloitte with a package of around 3.5 Lakh per annum. Most of my friends who sat for placements ended up with lower packages and slightly newer companies/startups. Overall, placements are good.
Infrastructure: One of the best things I liked about the college is its infrastructure. It is one of the most beautiful campuses I would say. The campus is around 90 acres, full of greenery, and you might even see some birds. A Caterpillar connects the whole campus, taking you to all the important places around it.
Faculty: IBS faculty are mostly Ph.D. holders who are very approachable and ready to help all the time. Although you might find some challenging aspects, most of them are friendly and really helpful. The course curriculum is good and is updated every year according to the market. Exams are very easy, and you will easily pass if you attend the classes.
Other: I chose this college because it is one of the most prominent in our area. I guess the fee is a bit high, and they are strict about it. The management team can improve by treating students more respectfully and being more responsive. Regular events are held on the campus, and there are many clubs like the Aura club. Scholarships are available based on merit and academic performance. There are two grounds on the college campus: one cricket ground and one football ground, along with many badminton courts, a volleyball court, and a basketball court.

A brief insight into life at icfai for undergraduate students.
Placements: The jobs are offered in all sectors of the corporate world, such as Operations, Human Resources, and Finance. The average package ranges from 4-6 LPA, with the highest at 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Wells Fargo, and De Shaw. There is a compulsory summer internship program, so almost every student gets placed unless they choose a self-generation option.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the academic building is very good, and they have a decent library. However, the hostels need improvement. There are two mess options available: one catering to North Indians and the other for South Indians. There is a clinic and various sports grounds, gyms, and five canteens.
Faculty: The curriculum is excellent and helps you in preparing for jobs and the outside world. The semester exams have a continuous grading system, which is hard but can be manageable with consistent effort. The course curriculum is apt, and the projects and assignments help in the overall development of students.
Other: There aren't much events for BBA but campus life of MBA is quite lit.
