 Admissions to the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad for BTech programs are not through direct admission. These are based on national level entrance examinations, such as the JEE Main. In a centralised counselling process carried out by the Joint Staff Assessment Authority, selected candidates take part. IIT Dharwad offers BTech specialisations in seven streams, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics & Computing, Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, and Civil & Infrastructure Engineering.
