It is around 80 percentile for general category.
This year it was quite low due to some issues but is expected to be around 80 in coming years. All the best.

As far as i know FMS BHU is better than NIT. You cannot call it as a mistake but FMS BHU is a good call. Average package of this year as of now is Rs.7.1 lakhs for FMS. Rest is your decision. All the best.

A paid student is similar to a regular student. Neither professors nor do companies discriminate between the two of them. They get equal or may be even better package than a regular student. Everything depends on the student.

GD is not about dominating the group or shouting the loudest. In real corporate world scenarios, GD(kind of meetings) is organized to get a SOLUTION to a problem at hand. same is the case here too. You people will be given a topic to discuss. You all need to get a final conclusion among the group. That is the most important part.
So what do you need to stand out in the group?
1. Be audible to everyone in the group (confidence)
2. Try and put down points or perspectives like no one else (knowledge)
3. Let others in the group to talk as well (good team member)
4. If any one person tries to dominate the group, you can cut him down and make him realise that this is a group activity. (leadership)
5. The most important thing, the group must reach a conclusion at the end of the discussion. either for or against the topic of discussion. (outcome)
As for if you will be given a chance for your own conclusion or not. that depends on how good or bad the discussion took place.
For personal interview you need to be updated, read newspapers regularly and be through with your subjects.

You have bright chances of converting the call. Prepare well. No, there are not much international interactions of students.
