Placement Performance of Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology is good vis-à-vis JIS University with some exceptions :GNIPST Placements:Median Salary: INR 3.7 LPA for UG students and an average salary of INR 4.2 LPA for the PG students.Placement Percentage: In the year 2023, 120 students got placed. There are some top recruiters; they are Abbott, Nestle, and Cognizant.Training and Placement Cell: GNIPST has a very efficient cell that offers 100 percent placement guidance, also provides internship opportunities, as well as mock interviews.Placements at JIS University:Median Salary: From the statistics, JIS University has a median salary at INR 5 LPA.Placement Percentage: The placement percentage of students is high at this university. Around 80 percent of students get job placements in diverse industries.Recruiters: JIS University has major firms in technology and pharmaceuticals.Comparison:Placement support and opportunities at GNIPST are average. The median salaries at JIS University are on the higher side, and the overall placement rate is slightly better. However, the focused approach of GNIPST in the pharmaceutical sector might provide specialised opportunities for its students. Therefore, bottom line: both are good, but if salaries and higher job placement percentages matter to you, then JIS University might be a better bet. And if pharmaceutical is your main concern, GNIPST would remain on top of that.
