The following are some important things to think about before applying to Federal Institute of Science and Technology for a B.Tech degree:AICTE, UGC, and other agencies' approval of the institute and its programs should be verified for accreditation and affiliation. This attests to the caliber of the faculty and facilities.Faculty: Research the credentials and background of the instructors at the institute, particularly in the area of study that interests you. It is recommended that experienced faculty members with PhDs have research experience.Placements & Recruiters: Examine placement data, including the quantity of students placed, the typical compensation offered, and the leading recruiters. Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial. After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats. In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.
