Although it varies the cuisine at the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Gorakhpur, hostel mess is generally of a reasonable quality. Clean, nutritious meals are prepared in a well-equipped kitchen. While some students commend the range of selections, which includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options others complain about the variable taste and sporadic usage of inferior products. Although trained staff prepares the food, complaints regarding staleness or a restricted menu variety continue. It doesn't always impress but it generally satisfies the bare minimum requirements.
