Since, this is a law University, it admits around 120 candidates each year through the Common Law Admission Test UG, for the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) Course and around 60 candidates for the B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) [Cyber Security] Course. The post-graduate courses offered at the university are the Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree and the Master of Cyber Law & Information Security (MCLIS) degree.

Ishan Institute is very particular about placements. Almost every student got an internship from the course in top companies. For pursuing LL.M (Master of Law) a 2 year programme for specialisation in fields like constitutional law, international law, human rights, criminal justice law, etc. in the  College the Law student should have to meet some criterias like:1. Student should complete 3 year/ 5 year LL.B exams.2. Student should have scored above 55% in the qualifying LL.B exam.3. Reserved catagory students should score at least 45% in the qualifying LL.B exam.

Although it is a private institute but Is has a good placement cell. Here almost every students are placed either on campus or off campus but the rate of off campus placements are higher than that of on campus.The placement body has a full hold on the training facilities. I accessed those facilities and was able to take my place under a distinguished lawyer as an intern. I being a person who lacks confidence was helped to overcome it to a great extent because of the soft skill training.Average Salary INR 2.60 Lakh.
