The mode of application for Jamia Millia Islamia admissions is mostly online for most courses. As students must apply through the university page after they complete the eligibility requirements. Though some courses do have offline admissions but is limited for a small amount of seats compared to the total seat intake.

Though the Jamia Millia Islamia is conducted online for most of its courses. Some admissions such as BTech in Electronics/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering had Offline SPOT registration for seats that had remained vacant. Though this mode of application is not guaranteed to occur every admission cycle or for all courses.

The BTech fees at Jamia Millia Islamia depends on the specialisation and type of course chosen with the self-financed seats at the university having comparatively higher fees. Among these specialisations most have annual fees of generally INR 19,225 while the Self-financed courses have fees of around INR 1,52,875 to INR 1,54,900.

JMI JEE Main Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech programme. The first round closing cutoff ranged from  17752 and 51961 for the General category candidates under the All India quota.  The most sought-after BTech specialisation was  B.Tech. in Computer Engineering with a cutoff rank of 17752, and the least popular was B.Tech. in Civil Engineering programme. For more details, click here. 

The JMI CUET PG Cutoff 2025 has been published till Round 3 for all students belonging to the All India quota. For the General category candidates under the All India quota, the cutoff ranged from 185 to 13.75, wherein the hardest and the easiest course were MA in Visual Effects and Animation and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, respectively. For the PWD AI category, the cutoff in the last round was from 65.5 to 6.25 score, wherein the hardest and the easiest courses were MA in Urdu and P. G. Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS Application, respectively.  

Jamia Millia Islamia CUET Cutoff 2025 has been published for all rounds and categories in the AI and HS quota for admission to various UG courses, like  BA (Hons), BSc, BTech, etc. According to the last round closing score, the hardest and the easiest course for admission for the General AI category were, B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and BSc in Aeronautics (Mechanical), with a cutoff of 81088 and 12.5, respectively. Please note that the cutoff for other rounds, category, quota, and course varies accordingly. 

The National Testing Agency has started CUET PG application process for admission to Jamia Millia Islamia. The window opened on December 14, 2025 and will be closed on January 20, 2026 (11.50 PM). Students looking for admission at JMI through CUET PG must apply for the entrance test.
