The Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE) has an active placement cell that helps students in securing jobs. This placement cell organizes various job recruitment drives, industry interface programs, and workshops meant to prepare students for the corporate world. Top companies are associated with cross-sector boundaries thus keeping students aware and prepared on how to face interviews and tests. This placement cell is hyperactive for students in Computer Science and IT; hence, the placements are higher as compared to other branches, but it also serves students graduating from other engineering sectors. The cell helps with the placement of the student through resume formation, mock interviews, and soft skills train-up, which help better employability of graduates. In conclusion, the placement cell does an average good job; nevertheless, most agendas will highly depend on the grades, technical skills of the student as well as the participation of the student in certain pre-job preparation programs.
