To get a seat in JSS College of Nursing for B.Sc. in Nursing, candidates need to fill in and submit the prescribed form (Form A) along with photocopies of certificates as indicated in the application form. The eligibility criteria include:
- The candidate should have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the state of Karnataka or any other examination considered equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
- The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and any other elective subject).
- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31st of the year of admission.
The intake for B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) is 100 seats. Candidates who have studied outside Karnataka need to obtain an eligibility certificate from RGUHS, Bangalore, prior to admission. All admissions are provisional and subject to final approval by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, Karnataka.
