According to AICTE rule, 75% attendance is necessary but in our College different departments have different criteria for attendance, don't worry you won't have to face very strict attendance rule in CSE department.

There is around 12-15 seats in CSE in KGEC, seat depends on the number of dropout students in first year, so large number of dropouts means more seats in JELET and vice versa.

If your branch rank is 50-60, then you may get a govt college but I think at 1072 GMR your branch should be above 100. So, there is less chance of getting a govt college for mechanical.
