B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination and obtained mentioned marks with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship. Candidate Must have passed in English in the 12th standard (10+2) or equivalent examination with at least 30% marks. Candidate appearing in the 12th standard or its equivalent examination are also eligible. |
M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with the mentioned marks from any AICTE approved University/Institute. (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD will be as per the state government rules. |
MCA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with mentioned marks from a recognized board. |

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 309 students were admitted at KGEC - Kalyani Government Engineering College and 335 completed their graduation in 2020-21.
