Expected cut off for CSE in KGEC through JELET is 30(approximately), this changes every year according to difficulty level of question paper, but you can expect that cut off will not deviate that much from 30.

For new admission through WBJEE:
Mechanical/Electrical - 6655 rs
ECE/ CSE - 10155 rs
IT - 17155 rs
FOR regular students:
Mechanical/Electrical- 3000 per sem
CSE/ECE- 6000 per sem
IT- 12000 per sem

Sorry, but I can not tell you that you can get in Kalyani govt engg college or not without knowing your rank in WBJEE. if your rank is under 1000 then you may get Kalyani but if your rank is under then you can get other Branches except CSE.

Sorry, If you don't domicile ceritificate of West Bengal then you can't take admission into any government college in West Bengal including KGEC

Admission in KGEC is done only based on WBJEE rank. If you secure a good rank (1500-3000) in WBJEE, you can take admission here.

No, you can't get any stream in KGEC with your rank, you can try for private colleges or newly opened govt. colleges.

KGEC is better than IEM, but in terms of placement, IEM is far better than KGEC, but if you want to enjoy the college life then choose KGEC, otherwise if you want to study very hard then choose IEM.
