The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course at KIMS Karad includes:
i) A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination.
ii) In respect of the candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together shall be 40%
iv) Appearance at the NEET is absolutely necessary for admissions to the first year of MBBS course, which is an University of all India character.
v) A candidate shall qualify at the NEET.
vi) Qualification in NEET shall be the eligibility in the case of students, who are Foreign Nationals / Non-resident Indians / Persons of Indian Origin.

Additionally, students must have qualified in the NEET-UG examination and have a valid scorecard. The college also requires various docs, including the NEET-UG scorecard, class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, transfer certificate, migration certificate (if applicable), character certificate, Aadhaar card or other valid ID proof, passport-size photographs, and allotment letter from the counselling authority. The annual intake for the MBBS programme is 250 students, and the duration of the programme is 5.5 years.
