The NIRF ranking and choosing the option with the higher score may be the most effective course of action. However, since these rankings are based on total performance rather than faculty, this approach is also not ideal. My recommendation is to enrol in the college that is more convenient for you. KIIT University offers B.Tech and B.Arch programs under KIIT School of Engineering in various disciplines. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech is 10+2 with Physics Chemistry Mathematics/ Biology with 60% marks in aggregate. For B.Arch programme, 10+2 (60%) with Mathematics as the main subject is mandatory. KIIT conducts KIITEE to offer admission in B.Tech course followed by counselling. B.Arch admission is based on a valid score in NATA. Final admission is confirmed through counselling. KIIT Admissions 2022-23 are currently open. The institute is inviting applications to the KIITEE 2022 Phase-4 exam. The exam was conducted on June 14 and June 16. Admissions for the international candidates are also open. Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. In my opinion, you should go for SMIT as there is less number of students so you will get a greater opportunity to interact with the faculty and the system. Secondly, the placement scenario is almost the same Id say SMIT has a better placement record, and let's be honest in KIIT only a handful of students get good packages whilst spending about 20 Lacs. And KIIT has a good infrastructure but so does SMIT. If you have a load of money go for KIIT and get a 5 Lacs package or spend less and get more. Hello Kamlesh Agrahari, KIIT, Bhuvaneshwar has a really good reputation and I feel that if you are getting admission here, you should take it straight away without wasting time. Their placements are reported to be over 90% which is really great. Though fees appear to be on the higher side, but good academics perhaps will require higher fees. First of all KIIT is a technology college. You should opt for Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) for BDS course. It's a low score in my opinion. You can avail direct entry into the college through Management/NRI quota. According to your marks and rank your fees structure will decided.
