LIT in Nagpur is of course famous for its courses in areas related to chemical engineering while c o e p offers all types of courses. To compare chemical engineering with metallurgical engineering is actually not correct. These are two different types of courses with perhaps different employers at the time of placements. My opinion is that both these branches have tremendous potential in the times to come. In view of this I would recommend that you can select any one of the courses in which you can get admission. Migration certificate is only needed, if you seek admission into any other university, whether it is in your home state or in other. You will get it by the University from which you completed your course. Migration certificate is also sought after clearing 12th class at the time of admission to any course. So yes, if you are applying in LIT Nagpur, you need to submit Migration Certificate if you are going for UG course. Unless you did your last UG degree from the same College / university.
