Admission procedure for B.Arch is as follows:
General Admissions: Admissions are done on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) [subject to the guidelines issued by Council of Architecture].
Note: Candidates must submit their application on or before the last date and arrange to send the photocopy of their 10+2/Diploma marks card and NATA score card so as to reach us on or before 10.06.2018. The application number must be written on the top right corner of the photocopy.
Foreign/NRI Category: Candidates desirous of applying under this category can write to foradmission@manipal.edu or call +91 820 2571000 / 2922400. Application form for foreign/NRI category students can be downloaded from www.manipal.edu
Note: Candidates can apply both under general and foreign /NRI categories. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Merit List:
General Category: Based on the marks obtained 10+2 and NATA 2018 -2019. Manipal University will declare the list of candidates in the order of merit in the 2nd week of June 2018 in the website.
A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately
Entrance Test Type: NATA
Visit www.nata.in and www.coa.gov.in for details on test syllabus, test pattern, test centre and exam dates.

That is completely uncertain. According to me, you should appear for the counselling, as you will get to know the condition.

It will be a great experience, because Mechanical is one of the most reputed branch and MIT, Manipal has a great team of teachers and have given some great engineers to our country.
