The faculty is good but the placements not so much. Not many core companies come for placements. A few students choose to get placed in IT companies whereas most of them go for higher studies.

There is no management quota in Manipal. The classes have already begun so i don't think you can join for this academic year.

MIT is a good college among the private universities. It has a lot of facilities and academics and placement is also good. Big companies like Deloitte as well small companies come for placements and provide a good enough package.

No. They do not have any management quota. Only two categories - general category, admissions of which are based on the ranking obtained by the student in the entrance exam conducted by Manipal University and the other is foreign/NRI category, where admissions are direct based on merit as per the marks/grades obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent exam) for MBBS and for all other courses on a first come basis if the candidate meets the eligibility requirements.

I don't think you'll get a seat in civil directly but you can give your name for the waitlist or go for branch change at the end of 1st year. You might get it. Civil gets over around 15k.
