A merit scholarship is a financial award that students receive based on their academic success in high school. There are many universities which offer Merit Based scholarship. Lovely professional university scholarships are also one of the tops in the education world to help brilliant students get some fee concession. The scholarship options are available for all courses in various streams. The university has its set of parameters when it comes to scholarships that the students have to meet to qualify for the same. Recently I read an article which states that Lovely Professional University has taken an initiative and providing scholarship worth Rs 20 Crore to the COVID frontline workers. After reading that article, I did a research on LPU and came to few conclusions, which I will share with you. LPU offers huge scholarship every year. The worth of scholarship goes even upto 100 Crores. There are even students at LPU who are studying on 100 % scholarship even on hostel and food fees. Scholarships on the basis of scores in previous qualification starts from 70% and above. I was pretty amazed to look further with the different scholarship schemes that university is offering. LL.B. Hons. admissions in PU Chandigarh are based on entrance test. The duration of the Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting multiple-choice questions. The objective type questions will be available in Hindi and Punjabi also. The Entrance test questions will be based upon following three components:
1 Current Affairs and General Knowledge: 40 Marks
2 Legal Aptitude: 40 Marks
3 Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English : 20 Marks.
