The NIFT's Fashion Design program has played an influential role in the growth of the Indian fashion industry. In the 3 decades of its existence the graduates of the department have had remarkable presence in the Indian as well as global fashion scenarios. The curriculum hones a design sensitization that balances global fashion aesthetics with an Indian soul. It addresses the needs of the export market as well as both couture and pret-a-porter in India. Holistic inputs on generic design with focused approach towards apparel inculcates the ability to develop and channelize creativity. A logical, sequential hands-on experience enables students to conceptualize design, make patterns, drape and construct garments of impeccable quality.
The basic eligibility criteria of NIFT's B.Des Fashion Design course is 12th in any stream with upper age limit of 23 years for general category. The online registration of NIFT will be start in the month of October 4th week every year. The the selection process comprises a written examination comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a Situation Test to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates
of the written examination.

OR
2. Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID.
So from above if you have UG diploma of NIFT/NID than can be eligible for M.Des. course.

or

So from above, If you have completed the three year of diploma from NIFT/NID. than can be eligible for M.Des course but can not get admission in final year of M.Des course.
Further admissions in M.Des courses are based on an entrance test conducted by NIFT.
The eligibility criteria of B.Des is 10+2 or 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of
Technical Education. So B.Des course is required 3-4 years of Engineering diploma courses of AICTE/State board of technical education. Hence you are not eligible for this course if not completed 10+2. The admissions in asked courses are also done on the basis of NIFT entrance exam.
