Generally, if a student withdraws his admission prior to the commencement of course, he can get the money refunded after adjusting some processing fee. However, such refund at the time of commencing of classes can be very much reduced or even may not be applicable in accordance with the institute's rules and regulations. Students should refer to the official NIHFW brochure for the admission brochure or contact the admission office for any further details regarding the refund policy and dates along with deductions to be made.

Post Graduate Diploma programmes like, say, the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management, the scale of fees amounting to around INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 per annum for the MPH programme, approximately INR 50,000 to INR 70,000 a year would be charged. On top of these, some levy registration fees, examination and study materials among others under separate heads.
