There are two options for students to be admitted to the M.Tech programme at NIT Jalandhar. They either need to qualify for GATE and appear for CCMT Counselling. Another option is to get admission through the Self-Sponsored category via only a GATE score.Additionally, non-GATE-qualified candidates can also be admitted by taking the entrance test held by the particular departments at NIT Jalandhar. Students must meet the minimal requirements for eligibility and pass the applicable admission exam with a passing score. To meet the minimum eligibility criteria, the candidate must be a graduate with a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA with BE/B.Tech subject from a recognised university. To apply for M.Tech at NIT Jalandhar, students are required to apply via GATE. The application process for GATE 2024 consists of three steps, I. e. , registration, form filling & document uploading, followed by payment of application fees.
