Hello, many nursing graduates prefer to gain some experience, of a couple of years, before opting for post graduation, MSc in nursing. But of course there are a few who continue to MSc immediately after completion of their BSc in nursing. There are many specialisations like O & G, child care, mental health, surgical, community health etc in which a student can pursue studies. With large intake capacity for different specialisations at post graduation level in the field of nursing, the prospective employers have a wide choice and this results in depressing the packages that are offered to these fresh post graduate students. These packages typically vary from about 2 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students gain experience, their employability increases along with the packages which they get in their subsequent jobs. The students passing out at the post graduation level of MSc in Nehru College of nursing are no exception to this general phenomenon. They also are placed in a similar range of packages. Best wishes to you.
