Over the years, PIM has seen its graduates go on to become Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Divya Prabhu, Ms. Roshni, Mr. Sanjay Shet, Ms. Poornima Rao, Ms. Anitha D'Souza, Mr. Prashanth HV, Ms. Jezel D'Souza, Ms. Mahima Deshpande, and Mr. Harshith Kulal, among others—all of whom have made valuable contributions in academia, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and social service. While some have taken on roles like faculty members or bank managers—strengthening educational outreach—others are making their mark in finance, operations, human resources, and even founding startups.Perhaps even more inspiring is how the alumni network stays engaged: through mentorship opportunities beyond the classroom, speaking engagements on evolving business topics, and annual gatherings where seasoned alumni—from batches spanning 2006 to recent grads—share real-world insights and open doors for current students .In short, PIM's alumni community is a vibrant mix of educators, business professionals, and innovators who remain deeply connected to campus life—helping shape both the future of fellow alumni and the next generation of managers.

Yes, admissions are currently open at Poornaprajna Institute of Management for the MBA/PGDM program. This is the time of year when the institute actively accepts applications, typically between May and June, aligning with the results of entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, KMAT, or PGCET. If you have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (or 45% if you're from a reserved category) and have taken one of these exams, you're eligible to apply. The admission process is fairly straightforward—submit your application along with entrance test scores and academic documents, and if shortlisted, you'll move forward for document verification and fee payment. So, if you're planning to join, now is a good time to take the next step.

Yes, Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM), Udupi has a dedicated placement cell—fondly called POORNAKASH—designed to guide and support MBA/PGDM students in securing job opportunities. Staffed by a mix of faculty and student coordinators, this cell focuses on enhancing students' employability through focused training sessions, mock interviews, and pre-placement talks. They've created a full-fledged infrastructure for placements: an air-conditioned placement room for companies, a 200-seat hall for presentations and training, and a specialised notice board keeps everyone informed about upcoming drives. There's also a modern computer lab with webcams and headphones for online assessments and interviews.Beyond logistics, POORNAKASH invests actively in student readiness—hosting boot camps, workshops, and corporate connect events with industry professionals. For instance, their recent Boot Camp with ProSpiders Bengaluru not only prepared trainees but also helped several students land placement offers. All in all, PIM combines solid infrastructure with skill-building and industry engagement to ensure meaningful placement support for all its management students.
