At Priyadarshini J.L. College of Engineering (PJLCE), Nagpur, the faculty lineup is honestly pretty solid. Across departments, you've got a bunch of experienced professors and assistant professors who don't just know their stuff—they've also got the degrees and the research papers to back it up. Think Ph.D.s, decades of teaching, and a whole lot of publications. Basically, these folks aren't just winging it.Take the First Year department, for example people like Dr. K.S. Gour (who's been teaching for 26 years and has 65 research papers under his belt!) and Dr. G.A. Wankhade (14 years, 35 publications) are kind of the OGs of the department. The Computer Science squad is no less impressive either, with faculty like Dr. V.P. Balpande and Mr. R.N. Jogekar, both rocking over 15 years of experience and a decent stack of research work to show for it.Now, if you're wondering what the students have to say well, most of them are pretty happy. The general vibe is that the teachers are chill, helpful, and really know their subjects. A lot of students also say the faculty is focused on getting them industry-ready, which is always a win when you're thinking about jobs post-college. And yep, the profs don't just stick to textbooks they bring in practical insights too, which makes things way more relatable. That said, it's not all rainbows. Some students do mention that a few of the newer or less experienced teachers are still finding their groove. But let's be real, that's kind of the case everywhere. The good news? Most of the faculty is approachable and genuinely supportive, whether it's academics, projects, or even college fests and events.Even the principal is all about this mentor-first approach. In their message, they emphasize how important it is for students to have experienced guides during their engineering journey which, honestly, feels pretty reassuring when you're deep in assignments and debugging nightmares. So yeah, if you're heading to PJLCE, you're likely to find a teaching crew that's got both brainpower and a pretty friendly attitude.
