Hostel facilities in BMU are much better than the private pgs. Hostels have all the basic facilities that are required by college students. Hygienic and vegetarian meals are served to students 5 times a day. Laundry services are available which include in hostel fee. A doctor is available for hostellers for medical aid. 24/7 security is there for students and wardens are there to resolve any type of issues with students. No male is allowed inside the girls' hostel even though it is from staff.

BMU provides a first come first serve option for the students, those who register first got the admission. To get your seat reserved you need to register yourself for the course. There are limited seats in each branch so to get admission you need to do registration as earlier as possible. There is also no reservation quota like state reservation or anything else.

There are two types of hostels in our college for first year student. One is tower and other one is apartment. Basically tower is like a rooms with single occupancy, double occupancy and triple occupancy and have common washrooms areas like three or four washrooms on a floor. Another one is apartment hostel. In apartments, there is a group of five rooms in a apartments having two single occupancy, two double occupancy and one triple occupancy room with one common area and washroom areas. Fees ranges from 180k to 240k but it increase every year by 5 to 10 percent. Apartment hostel fees is 20k more than tower hostel for each categories. Meal is provided 4 times a day I. e. breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Different food is cooked for South Indian students. Laundry service also there. You can give 25 pairs of cloth in a weak for wash.
